5 Apps I cannot live without

'Whatever you are, be a good one' - Abraham Lincoln

I use my phone a lot. Doesn't everyone?  I feel like having a phone is one of the most useful items I own. Whenever I have a blogging idea or an idea for a story, I will use my phone's notes and write it down. Whenever I need to capture a memory, I will use my phone's camera. I love my phone and I feel like that is the same for most people.

Although, what I don't like is having apps that I don't use on my phone. I feel like they take up unnecessary space.

Huji

First is Huji. Now, I am not going to pretend this is a new app and that you haven't seen it plastered all over your Instagram or Facebook feed. It isn't new and I do feel very late to the craze. But I love this app. Below are some of the photos I have taken using it. Basically, what it does is make like all the photos you take are from a disposable camera. I love both Polaroid and disposable cameras and the way it makes photos look. However, Polaroid is super expensive and although I do own one, I only use it on special occasions. And as for disposable cameras themselves, I do sometimes buy them when I am about to go on holiday, but they cost a lot as well. Plus you also have to get them developed, which is even more time and money, so this app is a definite winner.

FamCal

Another app that is a must for my day-to-day life is my FamCal. Now, this app is definitely meant for a family, however, I use it for me and my friends. I live in a house with three other people and it's sometimes nice to know where everyone is if they are going to be home for dinner. Plus, because we are on the same course, we share deadlines. So, is there is upcoming work, it will be put on the calendar and then we will all see it. How it works is, one of you downloads the app and chooses their colour as well as a shared password. Then they connect you by adding your emails and then you choose your own colours. For example - all my events are in pink and my boyfriends are all in blue. Therefore you know who made the plan. It's super easy to use, it doesn't take up much storage and to be honest, it's been a lifesaver.

FrintsPrints

FrintsPrints has to be one of my all-time favourite apps. If you haven't heard of this app, you are missing out. FreePrints is an app where you can your photos printed out from your phone. You get 45 free photos a month and you only have to pay delivery, which for me is only £2.99 (fast track delivery). What I love about this app is that you don't have to pay monthly to get this service. You pay when you want the photos. They arrive quickly, are excellent quality and they make amazing presents for close family and friends. I would highly recommend this app.

Canva

Canva is an excellent app for bloggers or just people who want to make their social media look tidy. I use Canva for all my on-the-go logo needs. I have mostly used this to make my Twitter and Facebook banner for my blog's social media accounts. It's so simple and easy to use, plus it's free. Do you know how hard it is to find a good logo site that offers you nice quality logos for FREE? Spoiler - it's difficult. But with Canva, I can do it on my phone, quickly and it makes all my social media look tidy.

VSCO

Again VSCO, is not a new app. I have used this app for a while and it has travelled across a few phones with me. When it comes to editing photos, there are plenty of different apps that you can use, but my advice is, stick to the one you know and trust. Once I started blogging, I wanted my Instagram theme and blog to look similar and to give off the same feeling. I found that just editing my photos using the Instagram presets or editing using my Mac was not cutting it for me, so I started using VSCO.
